When we implemented the pilot project, we experienced lag in deliverables. The target schedule for completion was not attained. Prolonged time extension to finish the pilot project study became the issue of the group. Therefore, interventions were derived and made to streamline the execution of the remote pilot project. Although we extended beyond the original schedule, but we were able to mitigate the issues that might have caused more delay in the completion of the project. The first cycle of action research was focused on extreme time management by changing the proximity of the transitory accommodation base of the project team. Bargaining between the degree of comfort of accommodation to the proximity of the work base has a relevant effect to the number of hours we engaged in the project. Giving attention to the number of hours lost every day by the technical people executing the pilot project has relevant effect to the speed of installation. A simple insider action research was made and presented to the top management to improve the pilot project execution. The second intervention was focused on the prioritization of tasks in the project. Sorting activities and scheduling them according to what's most important and what will have the most meaningful results. We prioritized tasks based on urgency and importance. At the end of the second cycle, we evaluated the project progress and found out relevant improvement. The activities were done on schedule and a little bit faster. At the end of this research, the frameworks applied were integrated to Holcim’s pilot project case. Extrapolation has been made as the contribution to the industry when similar pilot projects are done in remote sites. 2018-10-01T07:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/6703 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/etd_masteral/article/13619/viewcontent/Colao__Ryan_C.2__IAR_Paper._Streamlining_Execution_of_a_Remote_Pilot_Proj.Ryan_Colao_Redacted.pdf Master's Theses English Animo Repository Project management Work breakdown structure Business Administration, Management, and Operations
