Description
Summary:This present descriptive exploratory research aimed to determine and explore the relationship between all types of supervisor Workplace Incivility and dimensions of Counterproductive Work Behaviors (CWB). A total sample of N=221 Filipino employees from different industries answered the replicated and translated in Filipino version of Workplace Incivility Scale (WIS) and 45-item Counterproductive Work Behavior – Checklist. Pearson-R correlation results revealed that there was a significant positive linear relationship between all types of incivility and all dimensions of CWB. Demographics of high and low scorers on types of incivility and CWB were also reported. The qualitative interviews supplemented the quantitative data and provided suggestions for leadership, management and development of HR Interventions. These findings have contributed to the literature of workplace incivility and CWB as the second reference of cross- cultural evidence from the Philippines on incivility and the first to provide evidences from new gender groups (LGBTQ).
