The purpose of this integrative action research (IAR) is to eradicate the silo- culture of departments in any organization. As every organization aims to be effective with all its operations, inter-departments must learn to appreciate the need for synergy, collaboration and teamwork. All these are very much needed in driving improvements and doing change management in an organization. To make things better, all these changes gave positive impact with its costs wherein it was decreased through two (2) months’ time from the action research (AR) cycles with Construction, Planning, Action and Evaluation stages. The AR cycles were primarily guided with ADKAR change model. Then, through extrapolation, Lewin’s 3- Stage model of change was eventually utilized at is correlated with ADKAR. AR Cycle 1 covers determining the process steps that in order to resolve the non-collaboration and incremental costs concerns. AR Cycle 2 then caters the further management and recovery of the incurred incremental costs, and strengthening desire of the collaborative meetings injected in the launched process flows for the imported project cargo logistics for a manufacturing company. This action research dealt on the incremental costs in an importation process, costs that should not occur in an effective operation. These incremental costs must then be foreseen in order to prevent from happening, and be recovered in cases an organization incurred such costs already. 2019-10-19T07:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/6755 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Interorganizational relations Business Administration, Management, and Operations |
