Model 1 of Hayes’ Process tool showed a non-significant effect of harmonious passion on distress intoler- ance in reducing GAD symptoms. However, distress intolerance and harmonious passion indi- vidually contributed to GAD. Distress intolerance is a risk factor in developing GAD symptoms. On the other hand, harmonious passion is a potential resiliency factor against symptoms of GAD. Implications of the findings regarding harmonious passion as an adaptability tool that can be de- veloped in different contexts specifically in school and possibly in therapeutic intervention are discussed. Future research is needed to investigate if harmonious passion incorporated in clinical practice is relevant in handling cases of GAD or other anxiety-related disorders. Researchers are also encouraged to explore other protective factors that may impede the increase of GAD in col- lege students. 2019-08-01T07:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/7071 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Distress (Psychology) Anxiety Clinical Psychology
