Summary:This study attempts to identify and analyze critical areas in the religious congregation of the Oblates of the Holy Spirit's apostolic mission. It sought to answer the questions : 1) Do the Sister Oblates of the Holy Spirit in general have the necessary professional qualifications in their educational apostolate in the Philippines? 2) Do the Sister Oblates of the Holy Spirit differ significantly in their professional proficiency? 3) Do the Sister Oblates of the Holy Spirit in general sufficiently comprehend the apostolic nature of their congregation? The respondents of the study include all the Sister Oblates of the Holy Spirit spread out to six communities situated both in urban and rural areas, numbering forty-seven (47) in all, with varied ages, educational background and experience and particularly compose the administrative and teaching staff during the school year 1976-1977. The design used in this study is basically a comparative survey type of investigation. The instrument consists of a five-point scale coding qualitative description. Specific questions were raised and answers were attempted by means of confirmation or rejection of null and research hypotheses of the study. The data gathered from the questionnaire were then processed with the use of the chi-square statistical tool.
