The study was an attempt to determine and compare the perceptions of the principal and of the teachers with respect to the principal's leader behavior and the organizational climate of the school. Specifically, the study aims to determine whether the teacher's background consisting of educational attainment, tenure, age, and sex are significantly related to each of the dimensions of the organizational climate of the school. The study also aims to determine whether the dimensions of the leader behavior of the principal are significantly related to the dimensions of the organizational climate of the school. Furthermore, the study also seeks to discover whether significant interrelationships exist between the variables of the teacher's background, the dimensions of leader behavior of the principal, and the dimensions of the organizational climate of the school. The Leadership behavior and The organizational climate description questionnaire were administered to the 35 faculty and to the principal of the Notre Dame of Manila. Then, the administered questionnaires were hand-scored. All raw scores for both principal and teachers were entered into a coding form according to the four variables of the teacher's background, the two dimensions of leader behavior, and the eight dimensions of the organizational climate. Finally, for the statistical treatment of the data gathered, the writer used the Pearson's product-moment coefficient of correlation and t-test. 1978-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/534 Master's Theses English Animo Repository High school principals--Psychology High school teachers--Psychology School management and organization Organizational behavior Educational Administration and Supervision Elementary and Middle and Secondary Education Administration
