The status of the community services of La Consolacion College, Bacolod City as perceived by the faculty

This study aimed to determine the present status of the community services of La Consolacion College, as perceived by the elementary, high school and college faculty. In this particular study, the descriptive method of research was used which involved the use of research instruments, and a well-planned strategy for gathering, presenting and interpreting the data. The main research instrument used was a survey questionnaire. Four main variables were chosen to test the status of the school's community services, namely, the school's involvement in community affairs through a) social awareness activities b) church pastoral activities c) city government and private organization's activities and d) YCAP activities. The statistical tests used to prove the hypotheses were the analysis of variance (one-way classification), the Scheffe's test of significance and the chi-square of independence.
