Summary: | 1st work. This study is based on the enrollment figures per academic year for the past five years, from school year 1973-1974 to school year 1977-1978 and on the financial statement of income and expenditures of the Dominican School of Pilar. Used in this research were the historical and descriptive methods. Survival rate or the average retention rate was used for financial and enrollment projections. -- 2nd work. This study was meant to determine the degree of job satisfaction of teachers in the five Dominican schools in Region V, managed by the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena. In the course of this study, a descriptive survey method through written questionnaire and interviews were used. In the first part of the written questionnaire, the respondents were asked to answer eleven questions and in the second part, the respondents were made to select five from several factors listed and ranked in the order of importance in increasing their morale. All responses were tabulated and transmuted to percentage separately by school. The average ratings were taken in the first part and in the second part, the mean was determined. -- 3rd work. A series of resignation happened three weeks before the formal opening of classes. Five teachers tendered their resignation one after the other and applicants were very scarce. This was a great blow to Sister Marcian, the new principal. |
