Romana, Ma. Corazon L. This study obtained feedback from and about the 1972 and 1973 M.S. graduates of De La Salle University (DLSU), who have been in the field for at least two years. The self-report and questionnaire methods were employed by the researcher to obtain the needed feedback. The questionnaire included pertinent descriptive and evaluative information and also evaluated the extent to which the main objectives of the M.S. program, namely, individual personal growth and job performance, have been met. Responses from 84% of the whole group of 1972 and 1973 M.S. graduates led the researcher to draw certain conclusions: A. A fulltime counselor-training program such as the De La Salle University Master of Science Counselor-Training Program has a valuable influence on its trainees' continuous personal growth and preparation as counselors are most comfortable in the area of counseling. As such, it should continually gather evaluative information in order to maintain and even improve that influence on its trainees. B. The guidance and counseling profession brings more satisfaction intrinsically than extrinsically. C. A popular channel for further training are seminars and workshops or training programs planned for a short term period of time. D. Bringing down theory to the level of application and supervised sharing among peers can prove to be valuable and helpful methods of ensuring learning. E. It is the duty of counselor education programs, or other training programs for that matter, to provide systematic follow-ups and chances for the professional development of their graduates. 1975-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/696 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Counselors, De La Salle University (Philippines)--Alumni and alumnae Counseling Counselor Education
