Description
Summary:A teaching guide in nuclear physics for high school teachers is the product of this study. It is intended for teacher use with average high school students, most of whom are not science oriented. It consists of 14 lessons divided into three units which emphasized production, effects, and utilization of nuclear energy. With the integration of physics, chemistry, biology and earth science in the new high school curriculum, teachers in the field will most likely find lesson planning a difficult task. There is strong probability that some teachers will be compelled to teach other fields of science wherein they may not be too familiar. At least with an available teacher’s guide, we can assume that a teacher will be able to pick some ideas and information and be of help in writing her own lessons. With this idea in mind, this little piece of work is dedicated.
