The researcher made use of the descriptive-comparative method of study. The subjects of this study were the 180 senior high school students of LSA and DAPS enrolled for school year 1979-1980. The instruments used for drawing the religious attitudes was Section B of the Philippine Attitude Scale and Knowledge Orientation (PASKO) questionnaire, a questionnaire constructed by Fr. Luke Moortgat, CICM. The test was limited to three religious attitudes namely: attitude towards God, church, and neighbor. The following conclusions were derived from the study: 1. The male senior students of LSA seems to have better attitude towards neighbor and God than DAPS male senior students. 2. The female senior students of LSA seems to have better attitude towards God than the female senior students of DAPS. 3. The male and female senior students of LSA seems to have more or less the same religious attitudes. 4. The female senior students of DAPS seems to have better attitude towards their neighbor than the males. 5. Senior high school students of LSA who reside in towns seem to have better attitude towards neighbor and God than the DAPS senior students residing in towns. 6. LSA senior students who reside in the barrios seem to have better attitude towards neighbor and God than the barrio residents of DAPS. 7. Taken as whole, the LSA senior students seem to have better attitude towards neighbor, God and church than DAPS senior students. Summing up, therefore, the LSA senior students seem to have better religious attitudes than the senior students of DAPS. They seem to value and internalize the religious practices and instructions offered by LSA. The religious instructions appears to be effective in the formation of better religious attitudes. They seem to know their faith and they lived with it.
