Description
Summary:St. Paul College of Paranaque has looked at the present Kindergarten test used for the selection and admission of Kindergarten applicants. Because it is a Catholic school and because it offers the Kindergarten Program, St. Paul College finds many parents seeking admission for their children. There are aso many applicants to the Kindergarten who cannot all be accommodated by the school. A method of selection for admission therefore, became imperative. So an admission instrument had been devised to evaluate Kindergarten applicants seeking to benefit from Paulinian training. This study attempted to investigate the predictive validity of the Kindergarten admission instrument, the content validity (dimensionality) of the Preschool and Grade School Report Cards (PRC and GRC), and the convergent discriminant validity of the PRC and GRC. It also clarified the split-half and interrater reliabilities of the evaluation instrument used with the Kindergarten pupils of St. Paul College of Paranaque.
