Description
Summary:The main goal of the study is to design in detail a practical interpreter for the EASY language (PIES L), a pseudo-language currently used in BASICON, DASTRUC, and FILEORG courses of the College of Computer Studies, De La Salle University. PIES L will enable the students to test the validity and accuracy of the algorithms that they have developed in the said courses. PIES L will also provide a means of documenting such algorithms. PIES L was designed using the Operational Approach and the concept of Directly Executable Language. The final output, a design leading to a software package running under Apple DOS 3.3, can then be used and incorporated in the above-mentioned courses.
