Computer aided system for sheet metal pattern development application : an object-oriented approach

This study presents an object-oriented approach to the design and implementation of a computer-aided system for sheet metal pattern development application. The construction of a pattern is the most vital step in any sheet metal work. The pattern must be correct both in shape and dimensions. Its acc...

This study presents an object-oriented approach to the design and implementation of a computer-aided system for sheet metal pattern development application. The construction of a pattern is the most vital step in any sheet metal work. The pattern must be correct both in shape and dimensions. Its accuracy is also highly desirable. A computer program can help ensure that these qualities are achieved. The program decomposition was based on abstract units called objects. The primary object of concern is the three-dimensional geometric object representing the metal project. The design was implemented on a language that supports the Object-Oriented Programming paradigm. The design and implementation of the program exhibits inheritance, reusability and extensibility. 1990-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/1283 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Sheet-metal work -- Patternmaking -- Computer-aided design
