Description
Summary:Visual technology, specifically visual programming languages, has gained momentum in recent years primarily because the falling cost of graphics-related hardware and software has made it feasible to use pictures as a means of communications [SHU86]. The ViP system is a visual programming system that uses the hyper programming paradigm to represent the different aspects of a program. Programmers are provided with a mixed textual and graphical representation of programming constructs and data structures. A formal description of the language is also specified using the picture layout grammar.
