Cecilia Catholic School (SCCS) in Canlubang, Laguna, in terms of structure, content, style, and extent of implementation in the light of the Don Bosco Preventive System of education. The descriptive-evaluative method research was used in the study. Four survey questionnaires were employed for data gathering. Samples of 124 respondents from MHCS and 171 from SCCS, chosen from the population of Salesian Sisters, faculty, senior students, alumni, non-teaching personnel and parents, participated in the study. The Mission Statement of the MHCS and SCCS were perceived by the respondents to be highly conforming to the criteria under structure, content, and style. The study also revealed that the respondents generally had a high understanding of the six basic values of the Preventive System, regarded these values as highly important and practiced them to a great extent. Lastly, most of the activities offered by the two schools were perceived as contributory to the satisfactory implementation of the Mission Statement, although to varying degrees. In conclusion, the Mission Statement of the two respondent schools conformed highly to the criteria under structure, content, and style. Moreover, the two schools have successfully actualized the core of their Mission Statement -- the Don Bosco Preventive System of education. The study recommended its dissemination to the members of the Salesian Sisters' Provincial Council in the Philippines and to the administrators of the two Salesian Sisters' schools for the purpose that the study might be helpful in improving the programs and activities of the schools. It also recommended the periodic evaluation of the implementation of the Mission Statement of the two respondent schools. 1995-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/1661 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Educational aims and objectives Mary Help of Christians School -- Mission statement Sta Cecilia Catholic School -- Mission statement Educational Administration and Supervision |
