Antifungal aromatic compounds from the chloroform extract of Peperomia pellucida (Linn.) H.B.K.
The chloroform extract of the air-dried leaves of Peperomia pellucida (Linn.) H.B.K. afforded dill-apiol (PP1), pachypophyllin (PP5) and aurantiamide acetate (PP6). The structures of the compounds PP1 and PP5 were elucidated by extensive 1D and 2D NMR Spectroscopy and Mass Spectrometry for compound...

However, the two isolates are inactive against the organisms Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeroginosa, Candida albicans and Aspergilus niger. Aurantiamide acetate was not analyzed for its biological activity due to the limited amount of the isolate. 1998-04-01T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/1889 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=8727&context=etd_masteral Master's Theses English Animo Repository Aromatic compounds Chloroform Extracts Medicinal plants Plants--Composition Microbial sensitivity tests Chemistry |
