Nelita D., O.P. This study focused on the five-year administrators and personnel development program for the five Molo Dominican schools in Western Visayas, 1993-1997. Specifically, it was aimed to: a) identify the profile of the five selected schools b) identify the profile of the administrators c) identify the competences and personal qualities required of administrators as perceived by themselves and by the teaching personnel e) based on the gathered information, come up with a five-year administrators and personnel development program for the five selected Molo Dominican schools. Of the eighty three (83) respondents, twenty six (26) were administrators while fifty seven (57) were teachers coming from the different OP Molo Schools. In order to compare the mean score of the development needs and the perceived required qualities and competences between the academic administrators and the teaching personnel in terms of personal and professional growth a t-test was used in this particular study. The findings showed that a) the four (4) schools situated in the rural communities have bigger enrollment compared to the one situated in the city b) sixteen or 61.54 percent of the administrators are in their thirties and forties c) forty-six point ninety-nine (46.99 percent) of the administrators are BSE graduates while fifteen point sixty-seven (15.67 percent) are BSEED graduates d) sixty-six point sixty-six (66.66 percent) of the principals who participated in the survey are graduates of the Educational Management Program of the De La Salle University, Manila e) most of the Molo Dominican administrators have six (6) or more years of administrative experience f) the development needs identified by the administrators as much needed were: a) area of personal growth and b) area of professional growth. The competences and qualities required of administrators were clearly identified. The study concluded that: a) the Molo Dominican school administrators should be provided with a continuing development program to ensure better, if not excellence, efficiency and effectivity b) both the administrators and the teaching personnel were interested in and in dire need of personal and professional development c) the development of values is fundamental in the deepening of faith and Christian spirit among the administrators, teaching personnel, parents and students. The recommendations were for: 1. the Council of the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of the Holy Rosary of the Philippines to: a) provide unwavering support to every useful project that pertains to the operation of the entire school system in general b) the Council of the Congregation to organize an educational committee whose members are professional experts with Masteral degree(s) or with Post Graduate degree or Units c) the Superioress General of the Congregation to retain the principals in their respective school assignments for a period of five years (except for safety and health reasons) to ensure complete execution of the development program d) the superintendent of the Molo Dominican schools to conduct a yearly evaluation to monitor the thorough functioning of the development program in every OP Molo school a) the school administrator to finance lay teachers in the graduate studies 2.
