In the advent of women's rights during the early part of this decade, quality care in Family Planning services had been given attention to. Studies along this theme is quite rewarding, especially to women whose FP experiences create numerous RH impact throughout their lives. This study seeks to find out the quality of care of two selected clinics located in Benguet. The objectives were to describe the present situation and quality of care of FP services of the clinics. The satisfaction of clients was also assessed. Then, determining a significant difference of program elements' mean scores by t-test was done. Finally, gaps were deduced and recommendations for quality improvement of the clinics were given. A descriptive research design was used in gathering data. Instrument utilized was the Quality of Care Assessment Forms of Practicum Clinics of the Social Development Research Center, Behavioral Sciences Department, De La Salle University. Self-administered questionnaires, face to face interviews, observations and records perusal were the methods in data collection. Data were analyzed in quantitative and qualitative means. The results disclosed that the NGO clinic scored better than the GO clinic in almost all program elements except in the staff interviews for the physicians and the chapter motivator/midwife as well as in the client provider interaction. However, findings from the collected data showed that the difference that exists between the quality in FP service delivery in both clinics is not significant. It was noted that the mean scores of the program elements of both clinics were interpreted as fair. Based on the findings, several program gaps were deduced. These gaps need to be addressed to achieve the intended quality of care of the clinics. 1998-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_masteral/1901 Master's Theses English Animo Repository Health services administration -- Philippines Health planning Medical care Health facilities Clinics Health and Medical Administration
