In fulfilling the main objective of the company of providing business growth and development through an efficient communication service, Calapan Telephone System Inc. (CATSI) decided to pursue and implement a 5-major development program by modernizing and expanding its operation in a province-wide scale covering Calapan City, Pinamalayan, Puerto Galera, Victoria, Socorro, Gloria, Bansud, Bongabong and Roxas.The construction of the Telephone Exchange in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro is the main concern of this practicum report. CATSI decides to prioritize the Construction of the Exchange in Pinamalayan due to the existence of PLDT Microwave Station in the said municipality, which provides the necessary long-distance interconnection.With the completion of the Pinamalayan Telephone Exchange, it will not be surprising that the municipality becomes the next city in Oriental Mindoro in the near future.
