KLC is in the process of completing the acquisition of its targeted 1,400 hectares of raw land in the municipalities of Carmona and Silang Cavite. 3. The company is under pressure from its shareholders to start the development of the acquired properties to take advantage of the present real estate boom as well as to get the cash flow going. 4. KLC mission is to acquire choice property, to plan its development according to market, environment, and latest engineering and Group dictates, and to execute the development in a cost efficient manner yet meeting quality standards. 5. KLC vision is to provide world-class yet affordable housing to Filipinos. The Environment 6. The Philippine economy in general is expected to improve. GNP and per capita income is forecasted to grow in 1998. 7. The real estate industry will experience changes in the coming year. There will be segments wherein supply will outpace demand. The residential and office condominium segment will become a buyer will have more to choose from. 8.The housing segment will continue to suffer from chronic supply shortages as annual demand far outstrips supply. This will remain the most buoyant segment in terms of demand. 9.Several government infrastructure projects are expected to come onstream. These projects will shorten travel time to areas south of Metro Manila. The Masterplan 10. KLCs project will be a housing community to be complemented by commercial and recreational facilities. The residential areas will include homes for the middle to high income class.
