The validated method when applied to mussel samples collected from five sampling sites in Bacoor Bay showed cadmium and lead levels to be 0.2042 + - 0.06129 ppm and 1.033 + - 0.1269 ppm, respectively. Variations in tissue metal concentrations among the sites were also investigated using One-Way Analysis of Variance.
