Apart from the numerous deaths that were dealt from it, economic, social, and environmental aspects have also been damaged by the pandemic. The pandemic has also made the people more reliant on the banking industry, as employment is no longer a stable option, people relied on the savings in their bank to sustain them throughout the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of corporate social responsibility and dividend policy on firm value among selected Asian banking institutions during the scope of the COVID-19 pandemic. The researchers gathered financial data and CSR disclosures from the Refinitiv Eikon database as well as the corresponding sustainability reports of the companies. From then, the researchers performed the moderated multiple regression using the R software to generate the results. Nonetheless, corporate social responsibility (CSR) had a negative significant relationship with firm value; dividend policy had a positive significant relationship with firm value; and capital structure had an insignificant relationship with firm value. Firm size had a positive significant moderating effect on the relationship of CSR and firm value and a negative significant moderating effect on the relationship of dividend policy and firm value. 2022-02-23T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etdb_acc/41 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1047&context=etdb_acc Accountancy Bachelor's Thesis English Animo Repository Social responsibility of business—Asia Dividends—Asia Bank capital—Asia Accounting |
