Summary: | You Feel Like… is a coming-of-age 90-minute LGBTQIA+ romance feature film about a closeted bisexual college girl who finds love and proceeds to challenge the biphobia present in her relationships after she comes out to the people around her. The movie showcases how sexual orientation discrimination, misconceptions, and miscommunication between peers can affect one’s well-being negatively while also showing how support from familial, platonic, and romantic relationships can help mitigate the effects as well as solve these problems.
Due to the group wanting to create a feature film to fully develop the story, the time constraint to create the project, as well as the lingering danger of the COVID-19 virus, the proponents would be submitting a Production Book containing all the necessary components for the pre-production of You Feel Like….The proponents prepared the storyline, sequence treatment, directorial treatment, script, one-liners, location clustering, character breakdown, budget breakdown, timetable, equipment requirements, marketing campaign, storyboard renditions for the trailer and teaser, and a pitch deck. Preparation for the production book began September 5, 2022 and formally concluded on March 20, 2023.
You Feel Like… was conceptualized and developed solely by the three proponents. Its production book and individual requirements were also prepared by the three with the advice of their thesis mentor and key individuals close to the proponents, such as immediate family members, friends, and significant others. The posters are photographs taken by one of the proponents, which are further edited using Canva to add poster details. Each collateral has been thoroughly checked and approved by the proponents’ mentor. |
