Description
Summary:The harmful gas detector can read real-time values of air concentration of specific gases present in IEDs and display on both the device and an android application through internet connection. Devices of this kind which can detect IEDs present in air conditions are rarely present in public areas because of the cost of present detectors available in the market and the Philippines is one of the top countries affected by terrorism. The projects targets to make IED detection much more available throughout the country and ensure the safety of the Filipino citizens. The prototype can detect 6 different gases namely, Carbon monoxide, Ethanol, Toluene, Methane, Isobutylene, and Ammonia and learn normal values of ambient air conditions present in the present location environment and detect anomalies in readings in which result to presence of different harmful gases as stated above.
