Co, Dominique Margaret O. Macob, Marby Christina Alyanna R. Yu, Julianne Annika Y. This study explores the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) dimensions and firm performance in the ASEAN-5 banking industry. The research aims to address the paucity of empirical evidence in this context and provide valuable insights into the impact of CSR on financial performance. Through a comprehensive analysis of data collected from selected banks, the study investigates the relationship between social impact and firm performance, the influence of CSR reporting practices, and the specific dimensions of CSR that contribute to firm performance. The findings reveal a negative relationship between social impact and return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA). The study also underscores the significance of robust CSR reporting practices in enhancing firm performance. Furthermore, it identifies CSR's environmental and economic dimensions as significant drivers of financial outcomes. While the philanthropic and ethical dimensions showed a lower direct impact on firm performance, their reputation and risk management importance remains evident. The study's results contribute to understanding CSR in the banking industry and offer practical insights for banking institutions, regulatory bodies, investors, customers, and academia. 2023-08-07T07:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etdb_finman/67 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/etdb_finman/article/1081/viewcontent/The_Impact_of_CSR_Practices_and_Reporting_on_Firm_Performance__Ev__1_.pdf Financial Management Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Social responsibility of business—Philippines Business enterprises—Philippines Business Administration, Management, and Operations
