The participants of the study were limited to the academic and non- academic employees of a private university, who have rendered with at least one year of service. It involved 50 academic and 50 non-academic employees. The data were gathered using a structured survey questionnaire patterned after the research study of Singh and Singh (2018). Based on the foregoing findings, the study categorized into two: The old normal (without pandemic) and new normal (with pandemic). Respondents on the level of stress showed a significant difference between old normal to new normal to academic and non-academic. This is because the old practice and routine was abruptly turned around, an immediate change is implemented and continuously improved to stay in the academic industry and digitalization is now an integral part of the system to avoid freeze in the academic and non-academic works Respondents on personal burnout during the old normal without pandemic, showed both were described as sometimes. (Not clear) In terms of work-related burnout, there is a difference between academic to non-academic. Non-academic employees tend to experience burn out to work related activities. This is because they need to cater all the needs and demand of students which is related to their academic standings and academic concerns, timeliness is also the concerned of academic employees because their work is guided with the Institutional policies. Respondents on personal burnout in the new normal with pandemic, showed that non - academic experienced personal burnout described as sometimes and academic often experienced personal burnout. For work-related burnout, there is no difference between the respondents who sometimes experienced burnout. However, it is important to note that people in the academe get easily tired because of the radical change on the teaching and learning processes specific to technological hardware and software used. The capacity of the academic employees to catch up with digitalization is also a factor and the internet connection is adding burden along the process. Female respondents tend to have a higher level of Stress and burnout even in old normal and in the new normal. The study recommends a program that could help employees overcome stress. These programs specifically concentrate on the areas namely; (1) Well-being of employees, (2) Social Support, (3) Physical Well-being, (4) Information Awareness, (5) Employees Benefit/ Employees Relation, (6) Employees financial assistance and (7) Spiritual Quest. This study could benefit both the employees and the employer.
