Thirty SCITs who were also university students who have undertaken practicum were interviewed to explore their experiences of being supervised in their practicum sites. Goals for supervision involved to assist SCIT in completing the practicum requirement of their university program, to help SCIT’s to develop and implement the guidance curriculum, to assist SCIT’s in developing counseling skills, to assist SCIT’s in optimizing the role of systems involved in school counseling and to assist SCIT’s in developing the connection between parent and school. Supervisor’s roles and functions included SCITs’ facilitator to facilitating SCIT’s to complete administrative requirements. Data also showed that there are systems involved in the supervision such as interactions between university, school that served as the practicum site, site supervisor, teacher, parents, students, school administration, and SCITs. These systems’ interactions impacted the supervision experience of SCITs. The SCIT’s also recommended ideal supervision practices they felt would be more helpful to professional development. Implications to counselor education and training as well as to future research were discussed. 2021-01-01T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etdm_counseling/1 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/etdm_counseling/article/1001/viewcontent/2021_Agustin_Adhi_Partial.pdf Counseling and Educational Psychology Master's Theses English Animo Repository Counseling Counselors--Training of Counselors—Supervision of Student counselors--Indonesia Counseling Counselor Education
