I. This Integrated Action Research addresses the issue of lack of accountability related to the management of patients who were involved in accidents in Shopping Center A. The goal is to improve accountability for team members who are involved in managing patients using the interprofessional teamwork framework. This paper serves as an avenue for team members to review the responsibilities that they have been given and either be personally accountable for these responsibilities or recommend another person to handle the responsibility. After accountability is determined, the action research then focused on the development of a set of guidelines containing the actions that each team member will perform. These actions will be reflective of a specific set of responsibilities each team member has accepted. As these guidelines are implemented within the company, there are lesser chances of problems occurring that result from the delay of getting patient treatment and from late payments/reimbursements. The issue was identified through one-on-one interviews, informal discussions, department meetings, and action research tools such as ORJI, the ladder of inference, levels of inquiry, four parts of speech, and force field analysis. Guided by Reeves et al’s Inter-professional Teamwork framework, we were able to address the issue. In addition, the ADKAR change framework was also used to facilitate the changes done by the team. 2018-12-06T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etdm_manorg/34 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/etdm_manorg/article/1039/viewcontent/Sandejas2.pdf Management and Organization Master's Theses English Animo Repository Premises liability System safety Accidents—Prevention Responsibility Business Administration, Management, and Operations
