Description
Summary:This study investigated the association between dispositional mindfulness and well-being in the economically active population of the Philippines. It was proposed that the link between dispositional mindfulness and people's well-being would be mediated by psychological capital. Results from three self-report questionnaires given to 202 individuals, with a mean age of 33.5, revealed a substantial link between dispositional mindfulness and well-being. The association between trait mindfulness and the outcomes of well-being were significantly mediated by psychological capital. A significant, favorable, and direct link between dispositional mindfulness and well-being was discovered. The dependent variables seem to be strongly, directly, and significantly impacted by dispositional mindfulness. Future research directions were recommended along with an evaluation of the study's implications.
