Chevalier of the order of academic palms
Emerita Quito, Distinguished Professor of Humanities and Chairman of the Philosophy Department, was named Chevalier of the Order of Academic Palms by the Prime Minister of France. Founded in 1808, this prestigious Order honors persons who have distinguished themselves in academic life.
