49th Don Carlos Palanca memorial awards for literature
Jhoanna Lyn Cruz, an MFA graduate student and former chair of the Literature Department, won second place in full length play in English in this year's batch of winners in the 49th Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. Her winning piece was titled Halakata, Ms. D.
