الملخص:Nitrogen-fixing bacteria Azospirillum and Rhizobium were inoculated on Vigna radiata to determine its effect on the growth of mungbean. Seed infection was done using single, double and triple inoculation of Rhizobium trifoli, R. phaseoli and Azospirillum sp. Results showed that inoculation whether single, double, or triple, gave better growth for mungbean. Although it is already established that Rhizobium has a symbiotic relationship with legumes like mungbean, this is a first report that Azozpirillum can mutually associate with Vigna radiata.
