Most of the species fall under the primitive families Gleicheniaceae, Schizeaceae., Dipteridaceae, Cyatheaceae, Dicksoniaceae, Plagiogyriaceae, Matoniaceae, and Lycopodiaceae. At least two species have Halcon as type of locality (Plagiogyria facata Copel. and Lycopodium halconense Copel). Although no species is endemic to Mt. Halcon, a good number of species have a rather restricted distribution. Certain species have proliferated quite well on the summit zone owing to the series of fire occurences. 2017-11-01T07:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/faculty_research/12269 Faculty Research Work Animo Repository Biology
