Findings of study revealed that different concentrations of both crude phytopigments inhibit angiogenesis as shown by the continuous decrease of the vascular density index on the CAM of 10-day old chick embryo. However, Scheffe method showed that only 200 ppm and 300 ppm of crude phycocyanin and all experimental treatments of crude chlorophyll, including the 150 ppm, were able to significantly inhibit angiogenesis.
