Description
Summary:The research presents a profile of a clinical sample of Filipino children aged 6 to 16.11 years old, diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Preliminary results show trends in the children's cognitive profile from scores on the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Third Edition (WISC-III), the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test-Second Edition (WIAT-II) and the Norris Educational Achievement Test (NEAT). Patterns in their socio- emotional functioning, as gleaned through projective test data from the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), are identified. Trends in intelligence and achievement test scores and its implications on areas of strength and weakness in executive functioning are discussed.
