The field study is being directed by Exaltacion D. Ellevera, who is also the class adviser. They are working there through the cooperation of, and arrangements made with, the community parish. The study aims to gain knowledge about the socio-economic and health status of the people of Bagong Barrio and hopefully will be helpful in the planning of the community's development. Presently, the researchers have already gathered the interview questionnaires and are preparing for the dissemination of the findings held mid-January. to be The interviewers made use of the structured questionnaire, which relates to the socio-economic and health conditions of the Bagong Barrio folk. Five areas were covered by the study, namely: Lutgarda, East, Centro, Milagrosa, and Burgos. This kind of experience is to us a worthwhile and a learning one. It provides us with experiences on how to undertake research by ourselves and integrated the knowledge we have learned in the classroom with that of community research and the future planning of some needed community projects. 1982-03-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/faculty_research/12883 Faculty Research Work Animo Repository Social sciences—Research Caloocan (Philippines)—Social conditions Community-Based Research Social and Behavioral Sciences Sociology |
