Cellular uptake of gold nanoparticles into normal and cancer cells

Gold nanoparticles intracellular uptake was investigated using both normal and cancer human cells. Cell uptake was analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS). It was found that combining 20nm gold nanoparticles with longer incubation time and lower concentration can optimize the uptake of g...

Description
Summary:Gold nanoparticles intracellular uptake was investigated using both normal and cancer human cells. Cell uptake was analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS). It was found that combining 20nm gold nanoparticles with longer incubation time and lower concentration can optimize the uptake of gold nanoparticles by cancer cell. The findings of this study will help in the design and optimization of the nanoparticles uptake for therapeutic and diagnostic applications of X-ray Drug Delivery System.
