A transition such as this paved the way for the needed attention to carefully consider the offerings provided for the students which will now be staged in the digital space. Action research was used in this study with the objectives focusing on the students’ perceptions of student discipline programs and services towards the use of online platforms. This also looked into the new roles and competencies of educators in this space. The identified gaps and resolutions to transitioning online for the office’s programs and services, including implications to the roles and competencies of its personnel, were deemed to facilitate the establishment of priorities in responding to the pandemic situation. This research study was viewed from the perspectives of a digital campus ecology as well as self-determination theory.
