The objective of this study is to determine the characteristics of researcher's affiliation to the parent institution, topic of research, name of schools or institutions to visit, how many requests do The Learning Commons receive and what programs and services may be develop to improve the current referral services of The Learning Commons. Data collected are tabulated and recorded via Google Forms and analyzed using Microsoft Excel. A total of 456 referral letter requests available in the Information-Reference, The Learning Commons, De La Salle University were analyzed in this study. Findings of this study will be beneficial for the collection development of The Libraries since the research topics appeared in the Referral Letter Request Form were analyzed and evaluated. A list of research topics will be given to the Collection Development & Acquisition Librarian for possible acquisition.
