Downlink DSTBC-WCDMA in a fast time-dispersive channel

In this paper, the Differential Space-Time Block Code (DSTBC) modulation is applied to the downlink transmission of the WCDMA system to enhance system performance in fast-varying time-dispersive channels. The effect of scrambling operation is also considered to improve correlation between users'...

The effect of scrambling operation is also considered to improve correlation between users' signal. Among the receivers presented here, the differential space-time block code deterministic de-prefix combined (D-Det-DP-C) receiver shows the best performance. Since DSTBC-WCDMA is a differential modulation scheme, the best performance is obtained under the condition that the receiver has complete information regarding the interferes to minimize the effect of multipath and multi-user interference. 2007-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/faculty_research/12568 Faculty Research Work Animo Repository Wireless communication systems Space time codes Code division multiple access Electrical and Computer Engineering
