Description
Summary:Queuing has long been a menace to the Philippine transportation system. Over the years different manual methods have been applied which is proved to be costly and burdensome. This was until a new electronic toll collection system (ETC) was introduced. ETC's have continually expanded in the Philippines and are currently being used by both the North and South Luzon Expressway. The system being utilized by both Expressways were assessed and through this, a proposed system was made. It is a GPS based system that will revolutionize toll collection by identifying the exact location of a vehicle and uses mobile communication technology for computation of toll charges.
