Summary:Influenced by faced paced technology and recurring issues, young people today commonly called as millennials, position teachers as valuable persons in learning process. Their presence plays a crucial role in students’ learning. Making presence as a ministry places a higher regard in learning engagements. This study proposes to present a critical understanding of the ministry of presence in the context of teaching and learning engagement. In view of this desire, the study shall provide a conceptual overview of the concepts using current literature from church documents and recent scholarship on the theme. Through the critical reflection of the concept, this paper hopes to contribute to the breakthrough of teaching and learning.
