Recognizing the importance of evangelization in the marketplace, the research explored the theme of discipleship of the rich and wealthy in the Gospel of Luke. This paper provides a thematic discussion of wealth in relation to discipleship in the Gospel of Luke. The themes are aspects of discipleship pertaining to wealth and the rich: being a steward of wealth, demonstrating repentance, depending on God, detaching oneself from wealth, sharing one’s wealth, showing solidarity with the poor and valuing prayer. |
