Summary: | The agricultural industry today has been highly dependent on modern technologies such as automated agricultural machinery and equipment which are replacing the tedious tasks done by humans. The advancements in agriculture have been made successful through the continuous development of new systems and technologies and it has become an essential component for these technologies to be part of the next generation of animal and plant factories. In the future, the world is expected to have more people and more demand and consumption of the earth’s natural resources and materials. The challenge here is to reanalyze how agriculturally based systems can help meet the needs of the society. Also, as it moves away from the sophisticated manual process of doing farm work like planting, harvesting, fertilizing, etc. we move towards the automation of agricultural vehicles to help the farmers work efficiently and systematically. © 2020, World Academy of Research in Science and Engineering.
