In this study, the researchers aim to improve monitoring of sales in the business industry specifically in clothing companies. The group implemented a system that automatically scans and records apparel swing tags, which is geared towards an easier and faster processing of sales with the use of a conveyor system, barcode scanners, sensors, microcontrollers, and a portable personal computer to access the database where the swing tags are recorded. With this system, there will be an improvement in the process of monitoring sales since the clothing companies are able to identify which among their products are in demand. This system helps them to have higher revenue. Based on the results, the performance of the whole system is accurate since the values that they have obtained are significantly high. Moreover, it can be concluded that the conveyor is reliable since results were high considering that Different scenarios were taken into account. © 2015 IEEE. 2016-01-25T08:00:00Z text text/html https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/faculty_research/1842 https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/context/faculty_research/article/2841/type/native/viewcontent Faculty Research Work Animo Repository Sales management—Data processing Clothing trade Electrical and Computer Engineering Electrical and Electronics |
