Such recognition and identification is an integral part of an intelligent transportation system and future smart city. In this paper, we propose an integrated system of identifying a vehicle's plate number and associating it with its instantaneous speed. Experimental results illustrate a relatively higher percentage of plate number identification and recognition and overspeeding detection. © 2020 IEEE. |
