Though IoT has experienced a blooming development these years, still, the problem of slow and expensive Internet services hinder its usage to a lot of applications. In this study, a wireless sensor network (WSN) setup using low-power wide area network (LPWAN) is being proposed to address the problem of a reliable wireless communication system. This research will make use of a smart farm setup as the application platform.
