Collection-based approaches, e.g. collection mapping, list checking, comparative analysis against peer libraries, and user-centered approaches, e.g. usage and cost-benefit analyses, were utilized. Findings showed that the DLSU Libraries' Science collection is strong in Mathematics and Natural History-Biology and weak in Human Anatomy and Astronomy. Online journals comprised the majority of the 2008-2013 Science publications. Using Choice and YBP US Core Titles, the DLSU Libraries was not successful in acquiring recent Science books. Usage of Science holdings is consistently decreasing over the years, except for e-books. 2022-03-17T08:56:56Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/faculty_research/4890 file:///C:/Users/Library/Downloads/MREcleviaWhenCountingIsNotEnoughCurrentRealitiesofDLSULibrariesScienceResourcesUsingCombinedCollectionAssessmentMethods1.pdf Faculty Research Work Animo Repository Academic libraries—Collection development—Philippines Library materials—Evaluation Collection Development and Management |
