Summary: | Thirty (30) randomly selected human resource (HR) practitioners form different companies served as respondents in answering the survey questionnaire for the completion of this study. These HR practitioners and company representatives were from the invited one-hundred thirty (130) participating companies during the July Job Expo 2013 event of De la Salle University.
Results of the study present the sample common and most difficult questions that evaluators usually ask an applicant during a job interview. Finding also revealed the type of answers that some participants disclosed during an interview, which can affect an employer's decision when it comes to the hiring process of the hopeful candidate for the position. Tips from the HR practitioners with regard to acing a job interview were also presented in this study. The results of the study also point that Lasallian students need to have enough training and proper preparation with respect to their future job application, specifically for the job interviews that they will be experiencing in the future. The purpose of which, is for the students to increase their employability as future young professionals, as well as to redouble their chances of getting hire in the company where they plan to apply and work in the future. |
